Ordering

It is against the Law to sell or supply alcohol to under 18’s. Therefore we will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. Furthermore by placing an order with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are also not intending to supply alcohol to anyone who is under 18. Unless otherwise stated all of our products listed on our website are in stock but are subject to availability. Where multiple orders are received on a line with low stock and before the website has updated we may be unable to fulfil your first choice. We reserve the right under these circumstances to offer you another product of equal or greater value at no further expense to you.

We reserve the right not to accept any order.

The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment

Delivery, Non Delivery & Cancellations

Delivery prices quoted are to UK mainland addresses. Should you require shipping elsewhere then please email us through Customer Services

We use independent couriers. These couriers will attempt delivery twice. In the case of a failed delivery a card will be left at your addresss informing you of who to contact, after which we regret that you will be responsible for making your own arrangements with them for delivery. The products will be returned to our warehouse if they have not been collected from the courier 3 days after the second delivery attempt, and in these circumstances we reserve the right to pass on the cost of re-delivery. You may cancel your order for any reason whatsoever at any time up to 7 working days from the day after the date you receive your wine, provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact.

In this case you must notify us of your wish to cancel either in writing or by email to customer.services@winecellar.co.uk and you must return the product(s) to us at your expense in their original wrapping, intact and accompanied by all accessories and documentation that were part of the delivery. We will refund any monies paid to us in respect of a cancelled order within 30 days of receiving your note of cancellation.

In the event of complaint please contact the office on 0845 458 6100 or email Customer Services quoting your order reference and giving as much detail as you can. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 72 hours. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.
Prices and Payments

All our prices are inclusive of VAT in pounds sterling and will be marked per bottle deal or case as appropriate, but exclude standard delivery charge as listed on the site.
Our Payments system is powered by PROTX with 128bit state of the art encryption for high security, giving you peace of mind when ordering.
Discounts offered are for products previously sold at the higher marked price for a period of at least 28 consecutive days either on our website or in one of our stores.
We reserve the right to change our prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. .

We also offer Googel Checkout and PayPal as alternative payment gateways, both systems are fully integrated into our site to ensure your transaction is 100% secure.

Faulty Goods

We will provide a full refund or replacement for any wines that are proven to be faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We require faulty bottles to be returned to us. The address is Wine Cellar Ltd, The Heath Business & Technical Park, Runcorn, Cheshire WA7 4QX. We will arrange this as necessary at your convenience, please contact us in the first instance on Customer Services or phone on 0845458 6100.

Privacy policy

Upon joining Wine Cellar we collect the information we need to process your order including payment from the forms you submit.

The information provided will also be used to inform you of our weekly offers newsletters or products and services we feel may of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive this information then please send an email headed unsubscribe to Customer Services

We do not receive any of your credit card or financial details from payments handled on our behalf by the payment provider PROTX.

You agree and acknowledge that all copyright, database rights, trademarks (where applicable) and any other intellectual property rights in and to all parts of this web site, including text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, source code and software, is the sole property of Wine Cellar and the applicable licensor.

You are entitled to use our web site for no other purposes other than the viewing of information or for ordering purposes. You must obtain written consent before you use our web site or any other part of it in any other manner.
