The new 2.5-inch hard disk drive features three 166GB platters & measures 9.5 millimeters in height. By installing two drives into notebook PC's, up to 1TB of available storage capacity will be available to users.  

This drive features Perpendicular Magnetic Recording technology & spins at up to 5400 rpm spindle speeds & has an 8MB buffer cache. The device includes a 3Gbit/sec SATA interface.
The unit can store up to 160,000 digital images, 125 hours of non-HD DVD movies or 60 hours of high-definition videos.
